- 2 tbsp Bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup Maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tbsp Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt in a medium bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk together bourbon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm).

Cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) squares. Place on prepared baking sheet.

Remove from heat and stir in remaining 3/4 cup (180g) of chopped pecans. Let cool slightly.

Once the praline topping has cooled, dip the top of each cookie into the topping mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
